The helipad at Phata is the base of operations for the helicopter service to Kedarnath. From this point, pilgrims take a brief but captivating flight to the Kedarnath helipad, which is close to the revered temple. The physical strain of the Kedarnath trek has been greatly lessened by the convenience of helicopter travel.
